Antrim County Arrests Today
Start with the Antrim County Sheriff’s Office page. It is the county's hub for jail and booking information. It offers no person-by-person list of arrests from today. No county page even defines “today.” Is that midnight to midnight, a rolling 24 hours, or the latest business day? The county does not say. No update schedule exists. An empty web search cannot show that nobody in Antrim County was arrested.
The Antrim County Correctional Facility runs around the clock. Around-the-clock staffing is not around-the-clock posting, though. Identity checks, medical screening, fingerprints, and charge entry each take their own time. Any booking appears only after those steps. Someone arrested late at night may not even be in Antrim. Medical care, juvenile status, a federal hold, or another jurisdiction's warrant can route them elsewhere.
The official sheriff contact page is the practical start.

The county sheriff's contact page covers requests, not a roster of Antrim County arrests today.
Check Who Was Arrested Today
Ask the narrow question first. Arrested, held, or charged? Current custody, a same-day booking record, and a filed court case are three different records, so use the source that owns the fact rather than treating one missing result as final.
- Open the official VINELink search, select Michigan, and choose Antrim County or the Antrim County Jail if offered. Search one person with the fields displayed.
- If the result is unclear, contact the Antrim County Correctional Facility at 231-533-8627 or jail@antrimcountymi.gov. Give a name and relevant date, and ask whether the person is presently lodged.
- For the created record, use the county FOIA process. Identify the date range and ask for the non-exempt arrest-and-detention log entry or booking card.
- Check the 86th District Court Antrim portal later for case activity. A docket can lag intake and use different charge wording.
The Antrim County recent arrests hub shows how booking, court, photo, and custody sources connect across the county. Use the VINE Arrest Check after an arrest.
Antrim Same-Day Arrest Fields
Antrim County has no public same-day arrest interface. So there are no online columns to describe. This table separates what is worth requesting from what the county promised to post. It also keeps a private site or a neighboring county's layout from being mistaken for Antrim's system.
| Possible field | Antrim online status | Official check |
|---|---|---|
| Name and booking ID | No public daily field verified | Jail or FOIA request |
| Arrest or booking time | No public 24-hour list | Booking record |
| Arresting agency | Not shown in daily feed | Incident record |
| Charges as booked | No verified display | Booking record, then court |
| Bond or release | No verified display | VINE, jail, and court |
| Booking photograph | No official gallery located | Ask if a releasable image exists |
“Booking” is jail intake, plain and simple. “Arraignment” is an early hearing where a judge may take up charges and release conditions, and listed charges can later change, be reduced, or be dropped.
Why Antrim Arrest Results Lag
The county says the Antrim County jail is staffed every hour. It uses Guardian RFID for internal custody tracking. That tracking stays inside the walls. No public arrest list comes from it. The system can log every movement without sending a single record to a searchable page.
A useful same-day note records the source, search time, spelling, jurisdiction, and exact status text. If nothing appears, write it down as “not located in VINELink at that time.” Never swap that for “not arrested.” A booking could be new, protected, or outside Antrim County. It could also be already released, or entered under another spelling.
The official correctional facility page documents staffing and operations.

This page gives operational context. It is not a public arrest roster. Note: A web delay does not mean a person was released, and a custody result only shows who is in custody right now.
Request Today’s Antrim Booking Record
A records request works best when it names the record. Skip the “give me everything” approach. Michigan's local law-enforcement schedule separates arrest-and-detention logs, incident files, booking or control logs, identification images, and inmate jackets. Each category may sit in a different file with different redactions.
Ask for the non-exempt arrest-and-detention log entry and booking record. Give a full name and a narrow date range. Request the booking time, agency, listed charges, status, and booking number. Photos are a separate request. The sheriff form allows a report type and incident number.
The county deems electronic requests received one business day after transmission. It allows five business days to respond. A ten-business-day extension is possible. Fees may apply. A deposit can be required, too. FOIA is an official records path, not an instant “arrested today” tool. The Antrim County FOIA page shows request methods, timing, fees, and appeals.

The capture identifies the official records channel after the immediate custody check.
Antrim Arrest Is Not Guilt
An arrest record describes an event. A booking entry logs jail intake. A charge names the count police filed. A disposition shows how a court resolved a count, and these terms are not interchangeable, with the newest record not always the fullest.
Follow a filed matter on the court docket. The local portal may later show dismissal, a plea, or another disposition, while protected and juvenile cases may never appear publicly. A no-result can simply reflect timing, so recheck before assuming anything about the arrest.
Where Antrim Arrests Are Booked
The Antrim County Correctional Facility in Bellaire books people arrested anywhere in the county. That is where local agencies send arrestees. Booking place and arrest place can differ, though. Elk Rapids, Mancelona, or Bellaire may name the agency, the stop, or a home address. The booking record itself stays at the county jail. Medical care, juvenile handling, extradition, or an outside warrant can reroute a person elsewhere.
Give the full name, a narrow incident time, and the arresting agency if known. Ask whether the person is currently lodged and which office holds the booking record. Staff may limit answers for privacy.
Municipal pages publish police contacts only. No city feeds list arrestees person by person. So confirm which agency wrote the incident report first. That keeps a records request from going to an office that never held it.
